Moogles a Explaination! KUPO!

Moogles (モーグリ, Mōguri) are a recurring race in the Final Fantasy series. The name Moogle (or Moguri in Japanese, Spanish and Italian and Mogry in German) is a portmanteau of the Japanese words for mole (mogura) and bat (komori). They first appeared in Final Fantasy III and have appeared in some capacity in every main series game since, with the exception of Final Fantasy IV. The importance of Moogles to the plot varies from game to game, ranging from playable characters to simple cameos. Several, such as Mog, Stiltzkin, Artemicion and Montblanc, have made repeated appearances. Although their appearance has changed throughout games, they can easily be recognized by the small wings, usually pink or white fur and a pom-pom hanging from their heads. Moogles are generally mild tempered and like to eat vines and fictional Kupo Nuts.


They also Say Kupo alot in their sentences and now you know why im always saying Kupo..

I don't remember moogles in FFX...

There Were one of Lulus weapons mostly a Cameo in FFX

oh yea (duh). Now I feel silly. I've only played through the game like 5 times

Well If i remember correctly..

Moogles appeared in FF3,the only time they dident appear is in FF1,2,&4

Final Fantasy 5 had moogles I havent made it too far in FF5 so i dont really know what their role was

Final Fantasy 6 Moogles saved Lady Terra and became a party member later on with cute little dances

Final Fantasy 7 Moogles were rare and only seen in the Gold Saucer's mini game

Final Fantasy 8 I think was only a card Cameo..

Final Fantasy 9 gave moogles a grand purpose Mail Carriers xD expect when they used all the superslick.... basicly the longest side quest in FF9 since you had to unravel the mystery as to who used it all and in your spare time delivered mail yourself

Final Fantasy 10 Moogle's were a Cameo weapon for lulu

FF 11 Moogles were Enginieers for Airships for players ((I think never played 11 but they are in it))

FF12 Moogles were again Mechanics for airships,but also fought along side humans and 1 moogle even made a Guild of Hunters!! KUPO!

FFT No moogles i believe

FFTA were party members

FFV: Moogles were a decent part of the story, Krile could talk to them and they helped you escape from danger a couple times
FFVII: rare yes, but they rode the chocobo in the Choco/Mog summon materia
FFVIII: both on the card, and was a special GF if you had the PocketStation (only in japan), which could also be accessed if you had the PC version of the game
FFIX: also the keeper of the chocobo
FFXIII: they didn't directly appear, but there are shops you access called "moogleworks" which is apparently run by moogles (and has a moogle as its logo)

Others:
Final Fantasy Tactics: enemy monsters/playable characters, gives the best poached items (very rare to see)
FFX-2: Yuna is a moogle mascot
Chrystal Chronicles: they appear as NPC's, and in single player it carries the Chrystal Chalice for you
Chocobo's Dungeon: they appear as NPC's and are almost painfully adorable
